Our story
Founded in 2024, LymeLnk began as a social venture out of The New School’s Impact Entrepreneurship Fellowship, where Founder Eva Scarano earned her Master’s of Strategic Design & Management from Parsons School of Design. Eva has lived with chronic Lyme+ for the past eight years, an experience makred by the isolation of living with an invisible illness.
“But you look so good?”
At her worst, Eva couldn’t remember what she had done in class the day before or make it through a day without napping. She was in non-stop pain from early-onset arthritis, another Lyme+ triggered condition alongside Celiac disease, anxiety, insomnia, and depression. Struggling to explain not only her experience, but also the misunderstood disease with little resonance, was perhaps harder than the symptoms themselves

LymeLynk was created to ensure that others affected by this invisible, misunderstood illness are not alone. Mobilizing large-scale support, LymeLnk will amplify awareness and funding efforts beyond the immediate Lyme community, to create a world free of Lyme+
